A new structure is proposed on the boundary between the two levels of sports grounds alongside the row of trees. The principle of the new building would be to incorporate two main uses - above ground and externally, the building would be used as a spectator stand to oversee the lower part of the playing field.

Gently raked seating could accommodate over one thousand spectators, leaving sufficient room at the top / back for a row of greenhouses where students of the school can learn about horticulture and more generally about issues of sustainability. Underneath the raked seating platform, and partially excavated into the ground, would be an internal space for indoor sports, associated office facilities and storage.
